Doing front brakes on above car Tuesday. First time for a car with the sensors.

Just in case the owner bought brake pads without the sensor wires. You cut the wires from the old pads, and twist together, correct?

Thanks, Bruce

If you use front brake pads without the sensor you simply use Vag-Com to turn the sensor off.

I don't have Vag com or laptop, so could I just twist the wires on the sensor together? I just replaced the front brakes on my car, but the "worn brake pads" light won't go out.

Any help is appreciated.
