[FONT=tahoma,new york,times,serif]Hi All, a very interesting report on vehicle tires.. please check it out.. for the sake of yourself and your family's safety.
This is from the US but I wonder how much of it is applicable to Canada as well?

[FONT=Arial,sans-serif]Really informative

This is a very good video on a tire danger which had never occured to me.
There is a 30 sec. commercial at the first but the video is well worth the watching.

Not at all. Up there in the Great White North, you have different tires, drive on different roads, and you're much closer to the magnetic north pole.

I've seen tires dry rot due to age, but larger vehicles put different loads on them than what I've been driving lately. When I had a truck I would wear them out before they aged too much.
