Hey all,

So here it is, the important thread about Dyno Day 6!

The Food!

This is the place for us to workout who is bringing what and also a place for us to hang out and be social. We'll try and keep This Thread for the event details.

One of the best parts of NE TDI Club events is how everyone comes together and helps out with the food and other aspects of our GTG's. Dyno day is no different and everyone who comes with the hope of a full belly should plan on bringing something along as well.

Burgers - mikes_18
Bunz & con-de-mints- j double R
chips & sausage - jetterspritingwhohaslotsmoretdisthenme

I'll try and remember my EZUp so we can have a bit of dry/shady space, and I'll have to figure out what can make the journey. My usual is a great mexican cassarole thing but I've not tried it on a grill, so maybe some of my locally famous hamburgers. raw meat travels well in a good cooler.

yeah, put me down for the burgers. If anyone else wants to pick up the buns & condiments side of things go for it, otherwise I can probably cover that too. We'll see what headcount come out to when we get a bit closer.

consider the buns and condiments spoken for... i'm always down for a good burger!

if anybody has any requests for condiments out of the norm (ie. other than ketchup, mustard, mayo) let me know and i'll do what i can.

that's excellent. I'll put you down for the grill, and I'll let you know if you don't need to bring it.

no matter what there will be a grill or 2 there 10/20

once I know for sure I will let you know so that no one drives a grill all the there for no reason.

DSG does have a grill. I will bring propane.

depending on the # of people we may want 2??

then again people tend to just eat whenever. . . not like all the food needs to be ready @ once.

and there is a supermarket around the block.

Awesome. I think we'll be fine with one grill, people will just want to eat all day when they are hungry anyway.

Thanks for doing the foot work.

Gee, I've never seen that happen at a GTG...:p

I say let's hang a brownie in front of the dyno and put some brownie-lovers on the rollers...

I'm guessing we hit around 40 HP from folks running for brownies :D.

Oh, and I was thinking about the grill thing, and it occured to me that if we run out of space on the one grill, we can just use Jon's dash:D:D....

I've brought 2 grills at least a couple of times in years past, but generally it seemed the 2nd one was never needed for more than a batch or two of burgers/dogs. After the initial crush of salivating attendees has gotten something in their bellys, the pace falls off greatly and a single grill has little trouble keeping pace.

Sign me up for something sweet....will only be spectating.

Props to the MA crew for pulling this together and continuing the NE-DD tradition.

Brian keep me posted. One quick message from a satilite internet connection. I will be coming but not running on the rollers. (I am bringing down my mrk 3 winter beater.)

PM with what you are short on the food list and I will bring that along with some special east coaster beer for a swap. AND IF the batch is ready I will be bringing down some homemade hard cider from the 110gals I have sitting at the house fermenting.

PS- Jeff if you are reading this and coming I will need a euro RC2 tune for pp357 nozzles.

All others I cant wait to see you at the GTG! I have missed a lot this year!

MMMMM CIDER! I knew I liked you lot for a reason. I'm a cider brewer as well. This years batch ought to be good, a lot of water early in the season folled by drought. That makes for some HIGH CETANE hooch. ;) I'm gonna add some champagne yeast to a small batch to see what happens.

I'm going to try to make it. I have a charcoal Weber I can bring, along with some chicken wings. Do you all need another grill? If not, I'll just bring the Louisiana Hot Sauce wings.

Perhaps a visit first to Julio's in Westborough, MA!
