Hi All,
I'm new to the forum but need your help. So I have a Golf Mk6 TDI and yesterday the display in the car stated that the my fob Battery was low. So on my route stopped at a car garage and changed the battery. However since then the Key Fob no longer works, no flash of the red light and no remote opening or locking:confused:  I then changed the battery again and still no luck. It's my only fob to the car and I am now opening the door manually. How do I fix This??? HELP TDIClub!!

Is the battery in correct? It will only work one way and make sure the contact points are touching correctly.

Did you measure the voltage to confirm the old battery was bad?
As long as put the new one in the same way it should work.
If the battery is upside down it won't work.
