Have a 2012 Passat with title showing mileage discrepancy (Miles-Not Actual) and am wondering how this will affect the buyback amount?
I started the registration on the claims portal which shows a 100% estimated buyback amount.
I contacted someone in the claims chat function who informed me that the title statement that the mileage is not actual will not affect the eligibility of the car. She said the amount will be based on the car's odometer reading at the buyback appointment, regardless of the title statement.
Not sure if I can believe the claim's customer service reps.
Does that sound correct?
