Would one of the technical computer types tell me what's up with the website? There's no https in the adress only an i with a circle around it.

stop using a mac

JK i have no idea what the heck you just asked when it comes to an i with a circle around it.
It probably has to do with new standards this website is not equipped for. Most old sites now are "not secure" its BS thing that has to do with black magic and hailing satan

No mac here only android. Who or what is JK?
Before I hit the forums button the address is a secure https site. Afterward https is replaced by the i.

It's just the way the tdiclub servers are configured.
Just because the connection is "insecure" doesn't mean anything other than a 3rd party can read it. Big woop because guess what? NSA can see through HTTPS as well.
Logging in should be https simply by custom, but it's really not infallable anyway.
Just keep your browser updated and carry on.

If this site was your bank, it would matter a lot more;)

The little i with a circle around is an icon, you click on it to see info about the website, it is in many browsers. In the case of TDIClub.com - it will tell you that it is insecure. https is for secure (encrypted) websites and http (without the s) are not encrypted, therefore not "secure". Look for the https any time you are dealing with financial or other important business (like shopping). Much of the rest of the web that is mostly information is usually not encrypted. Apparently the management at TDIClub has decided that https is not required.

Have Fun!

I wonder if sniffing http traffic is how hackers got a bunch of TDIClub members e-mail addresses so they could send us extortion e-mails (hope nobody fell for it)?

Here we all thought the site got hacked, but maybe it was just someone intercepting traffic on teh internet. (That would be less worrisome than the site getting hacked).

Fortunately most people don't have any sensitive personal information on here. The e-mail address they got for me is just one I use for signing up for forums and things, and my real name is not associated with it or anything.

So when the hackers e-mailed to tell me they had pictures of me playing with myself, I was going to tell them I had to because their mother was too busy. Instead I just ignored them because I knew they were bluffing.
