LED aftermarket Fog Lights

Anyone have any experience with aftermarket LED Fog lights?
I hadn't even heard of these before, I know they work well in flashlights but are they powerful enough to really be used in an automotive application?

I think they'd be an interesting idea in lieu of DRLs. Lower power consumption and saves the filaments for when you really need them.

That said, I have 70K miles on my original headlight bulbs with DRLs enabled.

I haven't seen any but I don't know how effective they'd be as fog lamps. You'd have to get yellowish LEDs or filter them. The white ones they use in flashlights would probably be prone to light scatter (I'd think).
