I just moved to Colorado. After a recent snow dump, I started seeing that when I would get in my car and shut my door, the dash display would show that the door was still open. Sometimes, after a few open/close sequences, the door would finally show that it would be closed. I don't think that it is a wiring harness issue. I would like to know what the sensing mechanism is for the door being open/closed. I have a feeling that the recent cold weather is affecting something there.
If you have any thoughts, please share, and point me in the right direction please. I cannot set the alarm now as the computer doesn't register a closed door any longer.
