Didn't wanna leave the thread like that so here is a closing post. Well I ended up putting in the original clutch. Rolled it over 400k earlier this week. Loving the fuel economy and slowly sorting the car out. Replaced the passenger tierod assembly and upper strut mounts, will be redoing the rest of the front end and then the rear asap. Thinking of swapping out the coilovers since a front one is blown to ****. Swapped out the rusted hatch brand new 20% tint, new lights f+r, 2013 tdi golf wheels, 03 centre console, leather steering wheel, newsouth boost gauge, 216 nozzles, broken exhaust removed and straight piped. Got an egr delete coming Tuesday and will swap on a manifold I cleaned out. My egr valve is spitting oil all over the valve cover.
