JDM aftermarket driving/fog lights

I'm kicking around the idea of doing a custom fog/driving light retrofit in my Jetta's lower middle grille. Has anyone seen these projector housings? They claim to have a "Hella E13 certified glass projector in front with internal cut-off line." The images of the light patterns below look like they actually might provide a wide beam instead of a pencil shaped one...and I like that they could be used for halogen or with an HID drop-in kit. Thoughts?

I would just go with actual Hella Micro DE foglights. I've seen a few with drop-in H3 HID kits and the results actually are pretty good. www.boraparts.com has a bunch of the Jetta specific fog kits, or you can buy universal kits at tirerack or many other places.

I had thought about that...but I don't really want to block my intercooler. I'm trying to come up with some other way to mount the lights without interference. (Without dropping cash for a new FMIC )

Just get the universal ones and put them where you want.
