Utterly true but if you break free the bolt by turning it CCW and lose the indexing, as that's a morse-taper joint (not keyed) YOU will care.
It is not a morse standard taper, not even stub-morse.
It's also torqued quite a bit tighter than you can get without counterholding the pulley, even with the belt on and pulling against the friction of the whole motor, besides when loose it takes a good amount of hammering to get the taper loose.
I thought the belt tensioner may care as well.
I bump start my car every day, quite a few times I've gotten to the bottom of the driveway before figuring out it was in first rather than reverse. That's an awful lot of backwards.
