Looks like my small leak has transformed itself into a big leak.

Should I replace the upper and lower rad hoses when i change out the radiator?

It depends on the condition of the hoses. If the rubber is starting to crack, or starting to delaminate, or whatever, then I think you should replace them. But if the hoses are still in good condition, then there's no need to replace them.

I'm with Blacktree. I rarely feel the need to replace something that doesn't need it. The only real exceptions are clutch throw out bearings and water pumps that are a giant PIA to do otherwise. Radiator hoses - it really isn't that hard to replace them.
