Default 11mm VP37 pump

This one has been asked before but could someone confirm the part number of the 11mm IP.....I've it noted down as 038 130 107J. I have been offered one for 200 and if its correct I will be collecting tomorrow.

Is it coming from an auto?

Diesel bob is supposed to be good but , try Giles as the exchange rate is in our favour ATM. I've just sent him some 11 and 12mm pumps. Tell him i sent you!

It will be interesting to see how the 11mm IP performs with a 12mm pump head but won't you rpm be restricted?

Anyway I checked out the pump today but the rotor won't turn by hand so I'm concerned the pump is a duffer......how much pressure should it take to turn it or have I missed something

They're pretty tough to turn by hand but... put a 22mm wrench on the nut and it should turn without much trouble. It turns similar to an engine w/compression as the pressure will build up (x4 per rev) then peak and release.

nearly 6k with a 12mm, Ruben has a 12mm pump too, Bio Diesel or 2 stroke/diesel mix will keep it alive

The pumps are all a twat to turn!!

I think you just pin it up and then check out in VAG-COM once warm and adjust it within spec but i've never done it!!
