2006 Jetta battery drain

Bump.... Any updates to this? My 06 didn't have any drain problem till I installed a radio from a 2014 model. Im sitting on the couch, waiting for the charger to bring the battery back up enough to start. Ill check fuses for any voltage pull. Im probably going to stick my old radio back in and see if the drain goes away or not.

There is an updated canned bus gateway. You can get it out of a junkyard, it turns off after a while and will shut off and stop looking for the malfunctioning radio. I solved a battery drain problem by doing this.
