Ho5G Food thread for 1/10/09

Sorry for getting this out so late - but yes, Ho5G needs food!

We supply the propane & grill (and Hamsterbrownies ) and heat the garage - the rest is up to you guys!

This is what folks have volunteered so far:

TDIJetta99 - Turkey to fry, AND fryer to fry in

SSTDI - Matt's famous meatballs? Fingers crossed - hope you're feeling better!

MayorDJQ - People's Pint growlers?

IXLR8 - Chocolate chip cookies and soda

n8ronJ - Hot dogs, chip dip

LexTDI4Life - bratwurst & soda

Phoenix 42 - Honey Brown Ale

Mcgink - Crock 'o Kielbasa

Smug Slug - Burgers n buns

Dieselyeti - Twinkies & Oreos

TDIinRI - Desserts, dip, Baked Ziti

Delvi - We'll miss you! :-(

Snowcub - sweetness...ok, cupcakes!



There is a grocery store (Hannaford's) on Rt. 111 not far from the house if that helps!

Generally if everyone brings enough (of whatever they are bringing)for themselves and a few friends, we should be fine!
If you don't see something on the menu and you want it - BRING IT!

We do have enough napkins and utensils and cups.
We could use plates and even bowls for those mmmmm beans!

I am going to do my best to bring home made Chocolate Chip cookies and some sodas.

May I have use of an oven to warm some food? If so, chicken wing dip will be brought. (Hey, I'm from the Buffalo area - we live on chicken wings...)

I swear by all I hold dear that I will be bringing my bratwurst and a thing of sodee pop.

...assuming that there is no blizzard

If Jason can't bring the fryer, I might consider bringing mine. I don't want to mess up the Phaeton interior though...

I'll bring the potatoes, sweet potatoes, and onion rings/batter if there is interest.

I'll be dragging in a keg of Honey Brown Ale, much better then the flavored water I brought to Dyno Day.

I'll bring a Crock-full of Keilbasa (sliced)

Hamsterbrownies? Are these anything like Jerry Garcia Grateful Dead brownies? Am I okay to drive after eating one (or three?)

Is it better to bring food or bring drink?

I'll bring a big package (I think it's like 5 lbs) of hot dogs. A little western New York treat for every one...

I'll bring a couple tubs of chip dip - also a native WNY brand...

i'll switch it up and bring some burgers and buns.

I am bringing Baked Ziti, dip, desserts........there is more, but I gotta check the cupboards and the fridge! =P

I didn't get enough onion rings last time!

IIRC, 5 gallons of oil fills the fryer... any volunteers?

Been under the weather this week, so as long as I feel better I will make Meatballs on Friday... if not I will be glad to bring something else that I don't have to cook, TBA
