I may be asking too early but just in case someone has some info., will the acoustics of the Sportwagen's sheet metal change due to the new higher strength steel being used in the MkVII?

I ask because I want to add sound dampening to the MkVII Sportwagen I'm planning to purchase. Can I use the same materials, (such as Damplifier Pro or Dynamat), in the MkVII as in the MkVI and get the same results or will the resonance frequency's differ enough to require new materials?

I went ahead and bought a 2015 Sportwagen, new and the first mod I made was to have it soundproofed, its a quiet car. I did note that the new tires I got are louder than stock with only mildly improved handling. It's still fairly quiet.
