Clock and Trip Odometer reset problem.

Both the clock and Trip Odometer reset to 12:00 and 0 respectively whenever the ignition is turned off. The main mileage odometer seems ok. Any ideas?

__. These items need to have full-time battery power to function correctly. I'm guessing a bad battery, loose connections or grounds, or a bad ignition switch. It's like you're disconnecting the battery every time you switch it off. The main odo is "phantom powered" - otherwise, it would go back to "0" every time you changed the battery.
