High Beams stopped working?

Hi, As I was driving home all of a sudden with our warning or cause my High Beams went off. So I slowed down and flicked to low beams which still work! A further inspection reveals that the High Beam fuses are fine and they actually come on when I pull back on the high/low switch, so I can deduct that the bulbs and wiring is okay. Did I fry a relay or something? Any thoughts would be appreciated. I did put in a pair of E-Codes with low wattage H4’s about a month ago.

Wouldn't that indicate that the high beam 'switch' may be broken? Can you hear it 'latch' on when you engage it?

weedeater, I was thinking that. But pulling back to engage the High's works? I will listen for the click when I go out for lunch. Thanks for the reply. Jamie

You push it forward, it should latch into position with the highbeams on and lamp illuminated. If it doesn't latch, then the switch is faulty.

They spontaneously started working again on my way home from work? Jamie
