We have just purchased a 2003 Jetta and would like to use B20 fuel. It has 21K miles and the previous owner never used biodiesel. 1. Is there any issue with using B20 fuel at all? 2. How long after using B20 will we need to change the fuel filter? Will there be symptoms letting us know whether it is necessary to do so?

Don't know if this is any indication but I just used my first tank of B20 after 62K. No ill effects. On my second tank now. I did have my fuel filter replaced at 60K so it's new.

Forums I've read say there's not much risk of trouble with B20. Enjoy!

You will have no problem running B20. Change your fuel filter at the regular interval and you'll be fine.

I doubt you'll have any problem. If the fuel filter does clog you will definitely know you have a problem ie- no power to make it up a hill, engine stops or won't start.

Good luck and Welcome to the club!
