I have a 2006 Jetta will crank but not start Igor a bout a week it was hard starting after sitting over night or while I was a work but after I started you could shut it off and it would fire back up. I was on my way home stopped at a convince store shut it off and won't start I changed fuel filter No luck have fuel to the injector pump I know it isn't good but I could get it to start on starting fluid but shuts off after 45 seconds or so. Any ideas I am lost

Starting fluid is a huge no,no for diesels. Stop that. Sounds like you have an air leak somewhere. There is no injector pump on 2006's. They are a PD engine and the injectors are the pump. If it runs and starts again when shut off, it must be leaking down when sitting for any time. Others that know more than I will soon chime in. Stop that starting fluid before you do damage.
