Bodie State Historic Park, California

Has anyone taken CA 270 (Bodie Road) from US 395 to here? I understand it is not paved completely so I was wondering how rough it is.

I was searching for something completely different when I ran into your post. I live in the Vancouver BC area but just got back from visiting Yosemite National Park. We took the I-395 in California going back home. We did visit Bodie on the way home. Ironically I had issues with my old 2001 Golf TDI and ended up renting a car in Seattle which was a Chevy Malibu. The road to Bodie off I-395 is partial paved and probably about 6 miles of gravel road the rest of the way. The gravel road is not a problem, all kinds of vehicles making it there.
