Central California VW TDI Mechanic?

I'm wondering if any of you California TDI fans have a good mechanic in or near Santa Cruz, California?

Specifically, I want to find a used TDI engine and put or have it put into a 1979 VW Bus.

Any information/advice is greatly appreciated.

may be a older 84 vw diesel but not tdi. it is possible if you have a lot of money and time. you need to put in all the wire harness from the tdi including the speedometer.
