Ok, just for those who will be coming in from afar, does anyone care to predict what the weather will be like in DC for the Fest?

Short Sleeves
Sweater
Light Jacket
Heavy Jacket
Umbrella
Rain Slicks
Wet Weather Gear
Arctic Survival Suits

Ok just kidding on the Short Sleaves...:D

So far they are predicting mid 80's (26C) and partly cloudy. But give it an hour and it will change to a blizzard, then in another hour there will be a hurricane coming.;)

It's summer.
It's D.C..
It's going to be too hot and too humid.

Short sleeves is actually a wise choice, something you can wring out and put back on is even better.

Welcome to the prehistoric swamp that is our nation's capital. The weather changes hourly, so don't bet on the forecast being anywhere near accurate until it's two-days away (and even then it could change).

Bring shorts, t-shirts, and comfortable clothes. It will likely be hot and humid, or raining and humid, or cloudy and humid, or humid and humid with a side of humidity. :)

Also bring swim trunks if you want to go for a dip in the hotel pool or check out one of the local water parks.

Also, bring a knife to cut the air so you can chew it instead of breathing it.

Looking at the RealFeel of 103F for Sunday... that's pretty tasty right there.

Oh well, we'll have some tents, there are some trees for a bit of shade, and the hotel has some kickin' A/C. :)

Selected because neither Virginia nor Maryland wanted that bug infested backwater of the Potomac.
VA later changed their mind and took back their donated land, but MD had the sense to leave well enough alone.

Friday and Saturday sound like good weather for a convertible:p

I'll have to take the Skis out of the car and put my mukluks away (can't drive with them anyway, they keep getting stuck between the throttle and the brake )...

Pete, glad you're going to make it! Be sure to register before Tuesday if you want to do the meet and greet, brunch, or banquet. :)

Weather has been great at the Hotel. Went to DC for some nighttime pictures last night and got soaked by rain. But not a drop at the Hotel.
