Trusted TDI mechanics in Canada?

I noticed there is a thread for trusted TDI mechanics by State.

Could we have the same for Canada?

I am located just north of Toronto & I am going to be purchasing a 2010 Golf TDI Starion Wagon. I am wondering if any of the members could recommend a VW dealership in or around the GTA.

For a dealer, Georgetown VW.

For servicing after the warranty is done, I have used Total Mechanical Services (in Orangeville) although there are quite a number of other good places in the area.

What GoFaster said...if you are going to use a dealer, Georgetown VW will give you a fair shake

probably not ,there are no states in canada ,this site is really for the US ...ironically ,I am pretty sure freds tdi is hosted out of canada

I am real happy using the same dealer as andy but everyone tells us we are nuts

Listings of recommended mechanics for Canadian provinces and territories follow at the end of the states. There are seven entries for Ontario, which are not that many considering how many TDIs there are.

I have been very impressed with Oakville Volkswagen both on the sales and service side. They sure seem to move a lot of TDI's. If you go there to buy, I like a guy named Andrew. Gave me a fair deal. I see a lot of TDI's around town with their dealership plate frames.
