Too many projects and not enough time. I'm considering selling my Jetta Wagon TDI Swap Project.
The 02 wagon originally came with a blown 2.0 liter engine (~107k miles) and the 02 TDI Jetta Sedan was bought from a salvage company due to a front end collision (~97k miles).
I have everything needed to complete the swap. Includes good 01M automatic transmission (will need one boss where the dog bone mount goes welded up - or swap the guts in another case which I have as well).
Good bottom end (still see the factory hone marks in the cylinders), good clean head, good used turbo with zero shaft play, good 11mm pump and everything to reassemble a complete engine minus the gasket set and head bolts.
The car is exceptionally straight and has zero rust. The guy I bought it from started parting it out but I have replaced nearly everything he sold except for one rear interior panel that covers the cd changer.
This would make an awesome daily driver with just a little work. If you have any questions, please let me know.
I'm only selling this wagon to help finish my 67 F100 and I'm not looking for any trades and I will not part it out.
Looking to get $4500 with clean title and all the parts I have to complete. I've customized the interior somewhat and think it was tastefully done.
TDI sport cluster, painted radio bezels, Audi steering wheel, GTI front seats (no matching rear seats, but I do have the stock cloth seats that came with it).
The hood is blue and the rear bumper cover is a later model (longer) and they will both need to be painted.
The Beetle Sport wheels shown are not included. It's currently rolling on some 5 spoke 15" wheels with bald tires.
