Buyback Complete (at least the turn in part)

Turned in the 2011 Golf TDI

and bought this 2017 Golf R

That shade of grey and the wheels are much more civilized!

Limestone grey metallic, an excellent choice. Had I gotten an R, that'd have been my first choice as well.

Buyback - 7 Feb
Chase email - 8 Feb 9:11pm I responded almost immediately
Pending deposit - 9 Feb
Rep told me about a week for the deposit and 10 days for the loan payoff. Hoping the loan is paid off quicker but won't hold my breath.

And now it's completely complete. Loan paid off on 2/23 and USAA paid me the overage today.
