Unknown ECU Wiring, Need Help

I've figured out almost all of the wiring on the ECU harness, but there are a couple connectors I can't figure out what they go to.


1st connector (4 way)

Pin 1 - T68/10
Pin 2 - T68/33
Pin 3 - T68/56
Pin 4 - T68/33

2nd connector (2 way)

Pin 1 - T68/27
Pin 2 - T24/9 (VSS Pin 1)

According to all the wiring diagrams I can find, ECU Pins 10, 27 and 56 are listed as "not used", so I have no idea what they are for. Please Help!

Engine and wiring harness are from a 96 Passat 1Z

Wow, this is a real head-scratcher that I can't seem to find info on anywhere, and I guess nobody else here has ran across this before.

I guess it's not all that big of a deal, I just like having all my ducks in a row and want to know what every last connector goes to, I don't want to leave any stone unturned.

If anybody has figured anything out, please let me know!

For a 1996? Wire diagrams are hard to find, library will sometimes have them, might find on this intrrweb thingy.

I purchased a one month subscription for this site and carefully reviewed my ECU connector, listing out all the missing pinouts (ECU pins 3, 16,18,21,22,31,32,36,40,41,54,58,59,67) and compared them with all the wiring diagrams of the engine performance circuit.

It matched the 1.9 1Z more than the 2.0 and the 2.8, but it still shows ECU pins 10,27 and 56 as not used. Maybe this wiring harness is from a different year than I was told? This is really not making sense to me.
