anybody had experience with foxwell nt500 ?

im sorry ive only just seen your post, i had a nt 500, it was ok you could do a lot with it,but -- when it came too updates features dissapeared !!! i had contact with the selling dealer and they tried to fathom this out with foxwell , i supplied them with the info that was needed of my scanner but in the end the update they supplied didnt work ,so i traded it in for a rosstech and now im happy. the selling dealer couldnt have been more helpfull ,it wasnt thier fault and they tried really hard too resolve this.my view for what its worth is get a rosstech ,you wont be sorry.

That unit does not look like garbage. It's not the usual junk clone that we see, that's uses Uwe's own software.
They do charge for updates.
Many of us purchase these things for 1 car, in which case you won't need updates.

Bobnoh,read my reply up the page I had a nt 500 ! the updates are for all models and my experience with it led me too returning it and buying a vcds ,no problems with vcds at all.
