Oil Leak Near Top of Valve Cover

Hey Guys,

I have a very minor oil leak that is starting to accumulate oil near the spot in the picture below. I just had the TB done and 11mm injection pump installed by a TDI tech. There was a leak on the back of the valve cover that has been fixed. However, now the leak is right on the little ledge of the valve cover, oil is accumulating. Any tips on where the leak could be coming from to end up there? Maybe the valve cover just needs to be replaced? It has 175k on it now. https://flic.kr/s/aHskVAiGmA

He took off the valve cover and resealed it. There's no oil below the cover. More pics added. https://flic.kr/s/aHskVAiGmA

It looks like your oil cap is leaking. Try a new gasket, some have even used two one on top of another to seal theirs.

thanks guys! The oil cap gasket seemed to be the issue!
