World's first 2.0L 8v Porsche 944 TDI

Hey guys so I will eventually make a big write up explaining a lot of what I did and or used. But am super swamped with work currently.

But here is my recently more or less finished.

Tdi swapped 944


Yes she runs. Yes she is mobile.

No I have no idea on numbers but should be 200+/- on the safe side as I plan on driving this beauty every day to work. And what not long road trips.

She currently has a normal 5 speed transmission.

But I am going to be using a 6 speed 01X box. Which I already have and made needed modifications to. Just don't have time to finish it.


Thanks to this site managed to find info and threads on different aspects of what I used.

Unfortunately being the first one. Makes some things harder but I powered through.

My most proud moment or two are.

1. NOT CUTTING into a single wire in the stock Porsche harness or wiring.

2. NOT CUTTING or damaging a single body panel. Frame panel. Etc

Yes obviously I made a lot of custom. Stuff but that's every swap !

I'm using FF (fire fox) v70.0.1

Hey guys I'll try and upload some more this week.

Just some info

Engine is a stock bhw completely rebuilt down to rings mains rod bearings etc.
Brand new rebuilt bv43 turbo.
Brm intake custom. Conversion pipe to the ASV. Stock 944 intercooler.
Custom built bellhousing.

Stock 1.8t 23lb flywheel.
Stock bhw starter.
