It is going to be near impossible to find someone selling a steering wheel from a 2010 golf. I know I wouldn't part with mine. What would be a suitable replacement? I can suggest that you contact boraparts.com. He was selling kits to convert mk5 jetta's to paddle shifter. You may only need the the paddles, that you can add to your current steering wheel. I think there is also a ccm you will need also and you will have to have vagcom to change the coding.

My original post was a want-ad not for sale. This is the wheel I was looking for and ended up getting it off of eBay. I did find someone on Vortex at he time willing to sell me theirs. Good luck. I love having paddle shifters now. Great mod.

Just bought a brand new (last one available) Passat 2010 wagon Conf-Line with 2.0T and DSG ( i was about to buy a Golf TDI but the deal on the Passat was too amazing to pass). I love the car but i would like to upgrade to a paddle shift steering wheel. Once you get the wheel, what does it involve more to get this thing working? Do you have to do some type of connections, re-programming of your VAG.Com? Thanks for your inpute.

There are instructions here that were helpful to me when I installed my wheel. You have to use VCDS (VagCom) to enable the shifters on the wheel. But otherwise it's straight plug-n-play:

I'm waiting on my R20 DSG steering wheel to come in. I checked the tracking and it's in New York right now. I'm hoping I don't have the change the swcm.
