Hi guys, lots of very interesting posts on this section.
I have a 03 A4 Avant Quattro 1.8T 5 speed manual with an almost dead engine. I have a few estimates for an engine replacement with the original 1.8T. However, I've always wanted my car with a diesel engine and this seems like the perfect opportunity for it. I'm not a mechanic so I can't do the conversion myself. I'm looking for a shop on the east cost that can do this, preferably close to the DC/Philly area. Anyone with experience doing the conversion that can give me a hint?
