2011 JSW 180,000 miles

Happy to report 180,000 miles on my 2011 JSW TDi. The car has run great. I'm a sales rep and cover 14 counties and I spend a ton of time driving.
The longer the drive the better it runs. I use additive at times but not often.

good to hear, any big cash outlays , not counting reg maintenance, TB… ?

No big cash outlays. RCV issue but took care of that by following the advice given in here.
I get my car serviced faithfully at HB Motorwerks which I also found on this site. I really like the reviews I'm reading about the some of the 2015's TDi's and may buy my wife one in the spring.

Holy! 180k miles? wow. Good to hear! What was RCV issue, if you don't mind me asking?

Refrigerant control valve...

I'm at 155K on my JSW DSG car. I've had similar experience as the OP, except I cover 4 states :cool:. Love the car!

Long distance driving is what the car's engine truly loves.
I would not have one if I had to do city driving (short distances) driving; but then,
I would not be 'city driving' anyway.

2.5 states here, but on track for 60-70k miles this year. So far the cars been great.

Just passed 210,000 on my 2010 JSW. I just replaced the original brake pads on the rear. Front pads still have some life left in them. I love this car. I'm hoping for another 200,000 miles before I put it out to pasture.

..........over 200,000 miles on factory original pads would indicate to this sailor that following distance, reading the road ahead plus not accelerating up into a red light are all part of your skillset.

Wish there were more who field these assets............

i am glad to see all this mileage! i drive a lot as well. my 14 i bought in march is closing on 20k now. and i plan to keep it until it dies,which by the looks of it won't be for a very very long time! and my mileage gets better every week :)
