I have some annoying alarms with my passat.
The engine light comes on at start up with the warnings emissions workshop. After a few miles a the traction control light comes on and I feel a bit of a shudder. The traction control light goes off when I turn the ignition on and off.

I have VCDS lite register version. I did a check and I get 1 worrying code about injector number 3.

1 Fault Found:
17675 - PD Unit Injector: Cylinder 3 (N242): Regulation Range Exceeded
P1267 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

I also have an ABS ERROR code. Could the juddering be connected with that error or the injector problem.

I also have an intermittent fuel level problem where the fuel level indicator doesnt move.

any help or suggestions would be greatly received.

thanks
Paul

After some research I am going to start with the following:

1) Do a flush on my injecotrs with moli lub
2) Replace injector wiring loom.

See how it goes after that.

That sounds like a good idea.

Does your version of VCDS show group 13 #'s? I would be looking at the injector balance amount for the #3 injector to see if it's an adaptation issue before replacing the harness.

Thanks for the reply.
I will check block 13. What should I be looking for.
Started to look at the brakes and found the rear back calliper is seized. Could this explain the abs error.
Will replace the calliper to begin with.

I have previously checked block 18 and I am getting a change from "0". I read for fault free running 0 must be displayed.

A siezed caliper will not give you an ABS code.

You are quite correct.
Replaced the calliper and new brake pads and still have the warning light.
