All, the manual does not have an interval for changing the automatic transmission fluid. The coolant states the same, however, I plan to change the coolant with an upcomming 100K timing belt change. Does anyone know whether the automatic tranny fluid should also be changed. I am coming up on the 100K service interval and would like to change the transmission fluid with an OEM product.

The general impression I've gotten from reading around here is that the coolant can certainly last a lot longer than a timing belt change worth (although you'll need to top up with fresh stuff when you lose some as you change your water pump), but as for the automatic transmission fluid, it's a good idea to change it (and the filter) at about this time (100,000 miles).

You may also wish to perform the Kerma mod on the transmission at this time... (or not...)

Yuri.
