High beams not working

Hello, I'm having a problem with my high beams, when I push the lever forward the high beams don't work, but when I pull the lever towards me in flash mode the high beams work fine.
Now my question is could I have a bad high beam switch on my turn signal lever, is this something I could test with VCDS, has anybody ever seen the high beam switch go bad?

I've seen it personally and multiple times here in the forums. It's fairly easy to replace but the airbag needs to be removed (along with the steering wheel). Neither are that hard to remove.

Mine was intermittent - wiggling the stalk would make them come on. I sprayed it out with contact cleaner and got them working long enough for me to get around to replacing the switch.

Thanks, now that i know the issue I found a video on you tube on how to change the stalk.
