VW's 1st D Day, November 11th. Gen.1 engine fix or no go?

Guten Tag! So, does anyone have a clue, on this day, being November 11th, on VW purported fix for Generation 1 engines for the diesel cars? I have a 2012 VW Golf TDI. What say you?

Hindenberg sized balloon attached to exhaust pipe. When filled, drive to dealer, have contents compressed/liquified, put on a liqufied gas transport ship for transport to the Mexican exhaust processing facility (yet to be constructed).
