The driver's door window on our 2015 Golf Hatchback will not roll down all of the way automatically even after doing the reset procedure of rolling it down and holding the button down for 5-10 seconds after it hits the bottom. All of the other windows work correctly. Suggestions?

you have to go down all the way, wait a few seconds, AND go up all the way, wait a few secs. Or it could be vice versa.

Mine tend to need reset frequently. not sure why. Also, only have the issue with the driver window.

Edit: i do the reset by pressing the button for the auto roll. not sure if it works when pressing the 'normal' roll.

Gotcha. I thought it was not rolling automatically both ways.
When mine stops working, it's both ways.

Must be some weird software bug? any codes?

Haven't checked for codes yet. I loaned my VCDS to someone. I'll get it back later today and check.

I ended up replacing the motor on my driver's door because it was constantly needing to be reset. Very easy job if you end up having to go that route. No cables to mess with, only the motor and it's three screws.
