Where -- Royal Oak Pub, 1240 Coleman Ave. (near Costco, down the street from the airport)
When -- tomorrow, Friday, 8/22, happy hour goes from 4-7pm then they start dinner (which is excellent)
Why -- just because, happy hour, starting the weekend

Any takers????

I may drop by for a few.

I will be heading for Sac. tomorrow leaving the Santa Cruz area at 4:00. I will be driving right past there on my way to go fishing this weekend with a Friend.

I don't leave work until 6, but hubby can probably be there between 5 and 5:30. I'll check with him tonight.

One question comes to mind -- how will we all recognize each other inside the pub?

perhaps reserve a table under TDIClub. and walk in and ask for it.
or... just look for a bunch of people, looking for people that they have no idea about.

and just for the record... that's a way to get a social GTG going! bring it on! :D (too bad i'm leaving for a conference in Pasadena around 3 tomorrow :mad:)

How about whoever's a TDI'er hang out around the fireplace?

Hubby (Kevin) will be there before me; he has a long red-brown ponytail, which makes him very easy to spot in a room full of people.

Technically speaking, the wagon is "her" car. That's why it's still in stock tune. I'm on the prowl for an ALH Golf to call my own and get crazy with the cheese wiz mods...
