Default Looking for a good mechanic in Roanoke VA

My parents are having bad luck with the local repair facilities and are looking for a reputable shop to service their car. It's not a TDI, so the shop doesn't need to be diesel specific, just an honest mechanic that does good work in the Roanoke VA area.

Their immediate need is to have their exhaust system components checked (O2 sensors & cat). The Hyundai dealer quoted them $2k to replace the catalytic converter. I doubt the car is even worth that much at this point.
2005 B5.5, TD Tuning, R783s, GTB2260VK, 6 speed O1E, BSM 2/09, Pod w/ 40 PSI & EGT Gauge, Thor Skid Plate, Cat FF, Euro switch
B4V, 2.0L w/ BHW pistons, Rosten Rods, Girdle, 11mm, GTB1756vk, RC6, PP764s, .622 5th, Colt Cam II, Ecodes W/leveling motors & Euro switch, fog lights, Koni Yellow, Cat FF, Whitbread 2.5" DP, exhaust, FMIC

While not in Roanoke, up I81 from them is Mountain Valley Motors in Harrisonburg. They know the TDI well.
A B4V, a CRUA & a couple BRMs & ALHs in the family.
