Have a b5.5 passat with front mount intercooler and stage 2 tune. I have a persistant leak that only leaks under a heavy load.
I pulled the bumper cover today and went over every joint.
I have aluminum pipes with raised
bead to help clamp everything down.
I have T clamps
Did a temperary block off plate for egr.
I cant get it to leak sitting still.
Looking for ideas to find my leak
All my other leaks were with black smoke out the tailpipe, this one no smoke.

Set the parking brake, had a buddy listening for leaks with it in gear and nudging the clutch. Only thing that happened is i got the clutch a little hot. Could not hear the leak. Went for a ride and it is there almost everytime i put a good load on it.

How prone to leaks are the plastic tube up top. It is the only stock piece of tubing on my intercooler system.

No codes

I thought that too, but see no signs of a leak at manifold or turbo. I power washed the engine bay too. Will check it again after i put a few miles on it

Drove it about 75 miles and checked it over, nothing dirtied up yet and it is still leaking boost

Figured it out, clogged cat. Leaking out of flex joint. Is a bit of a bear to get out. Went back together much easier. Lots more power
