Jetta Brm Code p1741

Hi

I have a 2005 jetta brm engine code and it has been shifting pretty crazy.It seems to rev pretty high especially when shifting from 1st to second. But not all the time. I scanned it with my vcds and it comes up with a p1741 code. Clutch pressure adaption limit. Is this telling me the clutch is done ? I have no rattles in the dmf as ive read many people see and havent found any information on this error code.

don't know but i'm pretty sure my 2006.5 has the same symptoms and i swapped trannys from a 190k to a 60k and no change. I do not have the error code anymore but the symptom still exists. Weird stuff and I'm going to take it to the dealership soon to see if any leaks in the system.

Did the new transmission come with it's own Dmf or Did you use the one you already had ? Are you thinking your dsg fluid is leaking somewhere ?
