Default 06 BRM DMF life expectancy?

Iím planning on changing out my DMF on my 06 Jetta BRM with auto. Iíve searched on IDParts and found two offered. One is an OEM and the other is from LUK (which is much cheaper). Does anyone have experience with either of these flywheels. Will one last longer than the other? Are there any side effects from either? OR, should I look somewhere else?

Thanks for the help.
Steve.

We just replaced the DMF in our 06, we went with the LUK. the job was a bit of a problem. Mainly getting the correct parts. We replaced the rear main seal, and this must be installed properly, the crank shaft sensor must be positioned correctly, they make a special tool for installation of the seal. We did not use the tool, probably should have. This may be part of our issue now with starting.

The LUK DSG flywheel for the BRM is the OEM flywheel. If you want, you can spend more for the version with the VW logo stamped on it.

I would expect 100k-250k out of the newer updated flywheel. Revisions have been made since the original.
