Hey guys, this is my first post on this forum, but have been a 2013 q7 tdi s-line owner and have loved the car. When the news of the optional recall came out, I was hesitant / thinking I likely just wouldn't do it especially after viewing posts about it affecting performance etc.

But then it occurred to me, maybe I should get the $8500 do the recall, and then chip tune the car. Specifically was looking at the chip express chips. Does anyone have any experience with this? Specifically, chipping a 'fixed' tdi Q7?

Interested to hear people's experiences

IMO, get a real tune. Malone is likely your best bet and maybe they can even flash back to stock, before you go in for service or just clone a spare ecu
