starter motor 9 or 10 tooth

i've lost my starter motor from my B5 1.9tdi passat engine

looking to get another and there is 2 types a 9 tooth and a 10 tooth they are both listed as passat 1.9tdi starters

are they both compatible/interchangeable or is one wrongly listed?

and if they both fit whats the difference? why have 2 types?

Interchangeable yes. Each have a different KW rating. If you send me the part #s I can tell you the specs of each.

thanks - i take it the flywheels are all the same?
