They are micro not nano. Only usefull if you have minor ongoing damage or contact. This will impregnate the solid particles. Other wise do not use on a flat tappet cam as it blocks the oil entrance to the cam oil film. I think their other product that has both Boron and MOS2 might be better for rings and pistons. Actually they are really not cost effective on a
properly maintained motor.

Is ALH flat tappet style? I was gonna give it a shot

Forget about the additive. Rotella T6, Mobil 1 Delvac, Mobil 1 TDT will all serve you well without adding anything else to it. Redline will just rob your wallet. Yes, your engine has a flat tappet cam.
