No door puddle lights on a mk7

Noticed there isnt any puddle lights on my sportswagen. Was that an item they cut back on??

yup, you can hack the wiring in the doors to add it if you'd like.

Also do the '15 golfs have rear door lock/unlock buttons? the '17 Alltack has none. 4 less switch contacts! gotta be at least $3-$5.

Front was easy, back doors were a little more difficult.

While you're in the door, you can use a "lill dot" led from SuperBrightLEDs to put an entry light on the underside of the side view mirrors.

Yep. QOL went down a bit on the A7 platform, most markedly with the Golfs having a VIN starting with 3. I hope you never need to take your rear wiper motor off.
