2000 jetta alh auto...This has happened a few times over 14 months or so.. adjuster arm gets stuck..(P1562 Quantity Adjuster upper limit reached..from scan..vcds).. engine cuts off immediately ..I cleaned out the pump found metal and put back together.. and it ran fine for several months... happened again did same thing in about 4 months.. and again yesterday..is it time for a new pump?? probably huh.. or is there a repair I can do for this.. I own a auto restoration shop so I have the tools etc.. I saw somewhere idparts have a rebuilt one for around 400.00.. I looked on their site and it's 1400.00
..(is this the price without the core? with core it would be 679.00?) is there a cheaper one around? Thanx..sorry wrong forum.. relisted in correct area..
