I never heard back from you ghohouston... Is that the way we will leave it? As for a valve guide that was punched out by a valve, that is dicey business. If it didn't crack the guide bore, we have oversized valve guides, as punching them out that way is really hard on them.

You haven't heard from me yet, because this project isn't getting any money thrown at it just yet, mainly because i don't have the extra money at the moment. It may be months before i get to the point of rebuild... in the meantime, i will be taking the engine from the other jetta i acquired from a friend, with a handful of other problems, and installing it into my car. I am still going to call you, just didn't see the point if im not ready yet to spend any money.
