New 2003 Jetta TDI Owner

Well, now we have two! We just bought an 03 with 17K miles on it, GLS and leather. Wish the diesel prices would come down.

What are you paying for diesel? In Edmonton it is still cheaper than gas. Current cheapest price is 74.9 cents/liter. 3.78 L in a gallon so....$2.83 CDN a gallon. In Alberta we extract, refine, and distribute so much gas and diesel......why don't we get a break?

Although even if gas and diesel prices equalize, we still get a better L/100km or MPG. Hope you enjoy your new car!

It's just gone UP. We were around 2.09USD and it's now 2.19 again. I don't understand it - there is LESS refinery work for diesel!

Noticed around several stations between Myrtle Beach & Charleston, SC that prices ranged from $1.92 - $2.09/gl today.

Looked at the '03 Platinum Gray today... Drove it.. A tad slower than I would have thought, but, then again, I'm used to 200+HP vehicles.

Am trying to negotiate price down slightly.. will know by next week if we have a sale or not...
